Doopadcool, 18km from Chikmagalur, all of 150 acres of coffee plantation, beckoning woods, shimmering views of the Western Ghats, nestles naturally in the environs. It’s a bewitching region that is characterized by rolling hills populated by coffee shrubs, stately silver oaks with pepper vines snaking around its barks, dense jungle ant the fragrance of cardamom ripening, and rich in meandering streams: Isolated, peaceful and staggeringly beautiful rustic landscape that swells and dips with valleys and peaks.
